Fire Engineering

We provide fire engineering solutions using the following compliance pathways:

  • Acceptable Solutions (C/AS2)

  • Verification Method (C/VM2)

  • Alternative solutions using engineering from first principles

  • Performance based design

 

Whatever the compliance pathway we ensure compliance with the relevant building code clauses without compromising the function or aesthetics of the design.

Active Fire Protection

As part of a consolidated approach to the fire engineering design for your project OR specific to the active fire protection only, we can provide support for the following stages of the active fire protection design;

  • Design

  • Installation

  • Commissioning 

  • On going maintenance

We use 2-D, Revit and BIM360 (as well as other modelling software) to design and contribute to the project live model.

Following nearly 20 years international experience in fire engineering, fire testing and risk management, Gannon Fire and Risk was proudly established in 2019.  

 

The core objectives of Gannon Fire and Risk is to support our client’s project needs where they require fire engineering, active fire protection and/or passive fire protection solutions - at any stage of their project.

 

The combined experiences of the team, both nationally and internationally, enables Gannon Fire and Risk to commit to establishing itself as an industry leader.

 

A large part of our focus is based around consistently listening to our client's needs and tailoring our services to ensure that the level of our engagement and understanding of our client’s requirements results in the best value and outcomes for their project.

Engineering New Zealand - Chartered membership status of Engineering New Zealand (ENZ) ensures all work is undertaken with oversight by a chartered fire engineer and in accordance with the ENZ code of ethical conduct to the highest standard.
