Mark Gannon

Mark is the Company Director and Senior Fire and Risk Engineer at Gannon Fire and Risk. His career over the past 16 years has led him from his native Ireland to Australia and now New Zealand, where he has settled in the Hawkes Bay with his family. Mark has gained a strong reputation for excellence in the fire engineering field, focusing on the following services:

• Fire Engineering

• Passive Fire Protection 

• Performance Based Design 

• Expert Witness 

A published author with articles in various industry magazines, Mark continually seeks to improve his knowledge and share it with others. He completed his degree in Engineering, Science and Technology at Brunel University, UK and followed it up with a Masters of Engineering from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Mark is a believer in establishing long term relationships with clients and providing a high standard of work, no matter how big or small the project.

When not working on or in his business, Mark, his wife Julia and their three children enjoy getting out and about in the beautiful Hawkes Bay.
